How does pest control work in Melbourne and Geelong?
A technician identifies the pest, finds where it is living and getting in, then treats that specific harbourage rather than spraying broadly. Products registered for the pest are placed into cracks, wall voids, roof spaces and nest entrances, and the entry points are shown to you so the problem does not simply repeat. Most homes are done in a single visit; bed bugs and heavy flea infestations need a planned second treatment, because eggs surviving the first one hatch afterwards. Swift Pest Control covers all of metropolitan Melbourne and the Geelong region seven days a week, with same-day appointments where a slot is available and a fixed price quoted before anyone travels. Call 0436 389 114.

Straight answers, and the job done once
Most pest problems are not complicated. They get expensive when they are guessed at, half-treated, or quoted over the phone by someone who has not asked the right questions.
- We identify before we quote. The pest decides the method, the urgency and the price.
- One price, given up front. No call-out surprises and no moving figure on the day.
- We tell you when a second visit is needed before you book, not after the first one.
- We work around your household. Kids, pets, chooks, fish tanks and veggie patches all change the plan.
- We say when nothing needs doing. Some insects are harmless and we would rather tell you that.

Pest control questions, answered
How much does pest control cost in Melbourne or Geelong?
It depends on the pest, the size of the property and how far the problem has spread. A single wasp nest is a small job; a whole-home treatment for a large house takes longer and uses more product. We give you a price before we travel, and it does not change once you have accepted it. Call 0436 389 114 with your suburb and what you are seeing, and you will get a real figure rather than a range.
Can you come out the same day?
Often, yes. We hold same-day slots across both Melbourne and Geelong and we prioritise anything urgent, such as a wasp nest beside a doorway, rodents in a kitchen, or a smell coming from a roof space. We will tell you the genuine earliest we can be there rather than promising a time we cannot hold.
Is the treatment safe around children and pets?
We use products registered for the job and apply them to the label, placing them into cracks, voids and nest entrances rather than spraying broadly across living areas. You get a clear re-entry time before we start. Tell us about kids, pets, chooks, fish tanks and vegetable gardens during the booking and we plan around them. We will not tell you a pesticide is completely safe, because no honest operator can.
Do you treat rentals and businesses, not just houses?
Yes. We do end-of-lease treatments with the receipt property managers ask for, and ongoing commercial work for cafes, shops, offices, warehouses and owners corporations. Commercial jobs can be booked outside trading hours, and we provide documentation for your records.
Which suburbs do you actually cover?
All of metropolitan Melbourne and the Geelong region, including the Bellarine and the Surf Coast. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call with your postcode and we will tell you straight away, including if you fall outside our area so you are not left waiting.
What happens if the pests come back?
Talk to us. Some jobs need a planned second visit built in from the start, such as bed bugs and heavy flea infestations, because the eggs surviving the first treatment hatch afterwards. That is normal and we tell you before you book, not after. If something is not behaving the way we said it would, we come back and look at it.
Do I need to leave the house during the treatment?
For most external and targeted internal work, no. For a full internal treatment we usually ask you to stay out of the treated rooms for a couple of hours until surfaces are dry. The technician will give you the exact re-entry time for the product being used on your job before they start.
How soon will I see a difference?
It depends on the pest. Wasps at a treated nest drop off within a day. Cockroaches and ants often look worse for a few days as the colony brings the treatment back to the nest, and then fall away. Rodents depend on how many there are and how they are getting in. We tell you what to expect for your specific job so you can tell the difference between normal and not working.
